Sparring - Forms - Tournaments

Drill Sets

1) - CSSKF on guard - Back leg front kick, 3 roll punches starting with lead hand

2) - CSSKF on guard - Back leg 180 round kick to mid section, 2 hook punches (low high)

3) - CSSKF on guard - Lead arm Bon Sao (wing arm block low defense against side kick) while back leg stepping off to track one (replacing the target with a block) lead leg side kick, 3 roll punches starting with lead hand

Trainer holding bag:

Back leg front kick - land forward
Lead leg front kick
3 Roll Punches

Front stance
Step in lead leg, lead hand punch
Step into neutral by stepping up and over with back leg - same arm lead elbow
change to opposite neutral to elbow the opponent's back - opposite elbow

practice 2 ways, both sides - crossleg technique

1)pulling back arm

2)after the punch and charging through to the elbow

 

Jamming Techniques

1 - front stance - back leg front kick , reset back leg, back leg (same leg) leaping knee to jam or block kick, 2 back-fists low then high lead hand

2 - front stance - back leg 180 round kick, becomes lead leg knee (crosslegged) to jam or block kick, hook punch low, hook punch high

3 - lean away stance - lead leg side kick chamber, jam or block with a propelling knee (horizontal chambered for a sidekick) to lead hand back-fist

4 - is opponent uses arm to cover or lay over side of body; lean away stance - parallel attacking side kick (stepping behind lead leg), 3 roll punches starting with lead hand - or land with back-fists...but use side kick to pin opponents arm against body. Then follow up with those back-fists and punches.
